Healthy and Tasty Food to Feed your 5-month Old


It’s always a challenge for mothers to decide what to feed their children once they have passed the liquid-food stage. To solve the problem, here is an easy recipe for a healthy dish to prepare for toddlers which will suit the children’s taste buds and will also be easy for mothers to prepare:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 F or 190 C.
  2. Take a large sweet potato, wash and scrub it, and prick it with a fork a few times.
  3. Bake it in the preheated oven for 45 minutes to an hour (depending on its size), until it feels soft.
  4. When it is cooked, cut it in half and scrape the flesh, leaving the skin. 
  5. Mash it lightly with a fork and if it seems too thick, add a few drops of milk to bring it to the right consistency for your baby. 
One large potato can be used to feed your baby 3 to 4 times at this age, but be sure not to give the child too much of it even if he likes it. As they say, too much of everything is bad.
